Join us on a car trip for a special weekend of winter fun and more! In addition to skiing, we’ll be perfectly positioned to view the total solar eclipse on Monday afternoon. The trip includes chef-prepared breakfasts and dinners, a self-serve lunch on Monday, and more at our homey lodge in northern Vermont. The trip team will facilitate carpooling. Guests are welcome. Members have early booking priority through March 20, 2024. Members willing to drive and take passengers will also have booking priority. Eclipse Viewing Glasses: You must bring your own glasses to view the eclipse. We will NOT being providing them.

Destinations: We will go to Sugarbush on this IKON friendly trip.

First-time skiers or snowboarders: Miramar will help subsidize first-timer lessons and package costs for you. Visit our Learn to Ski and Snowboard page for details.

Trip Fees: Will be paid by credit card through our online reservation system.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations after midnight Friday one week before the trip incur a $100 late cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the whole trip cost. More info

Chores: Miramar is 100% volunteer-run. To help keep costs low every tripper helps out during the trip by taking care of a small chore. Most take less than ten minutes to complete and help us keep the trip costs low. A few examples would be: Waking everyone up in the morning, counting everyone on the bus, unloading skis when we arrive at the mountain or preparing our snack bags, cheese, and crackers, for the bus ride home; you would pick one or two to help with.

The Lodge

The bedrooms at Miramar's lodge are simple, comfortable, and made up with fresh sheets and towels when you arrive. Most are doubles that share a bath with one other room. A few are larger, and there are two dorm rooms that sleep six people so we can accommodate everyone when it's a powder weekend. After skiing and after dinner, our downstairs bar, lounge, fireplace, and dance floor are the place to be.

  I love the sense of community that Miramar has built around their winter trips and lodge in Vermont. It extends way beyond their regularly scheduled bus trips from New York and the Tri-State area. I have forged many friendships while being a member over the last 15 years. I find it a welcoming and inclusive club providing many options to socialize and enjoy outdoor adventures. Chief among their activities is skiing and winter sports but their mission is far greater and I am thankful for that.

  I’ve been a member of Miramar Ski Club for 15 years. I’ve made so many good friends through the club, who I never would’ve met through work, or my daily life. In addition to the weekend ski trips during the winter and the summer trips on the summer holiday weekends, people get together throughout the year for activities in and around the city - hiking, biking, movies, happy hours, dinners - you name it!
