Winter Sports
The 2020-21 season is going to be unlike any other in our 70-year history, and though some things will be different – no bus trips, masks and social distancing inside – we’re still going to be skiing, boarding, snowshoeing this winter!
Subject to State of Vermont travel regulations, members and previous guests who agree to our Covid policies will be able book a room at the lodge this winter. Watch this page and our weekly newsletter for more about how we are meeting Vermont and CDC Covid guidelines, and changes to this policy. And think snow!
Year-Round Fun
Miramar Ski Club is a non-profit, four-season skiing, boarding, biking, hiking, kayaking and socializing club based in New York City, with a lodge in Waitsfield, Vermont.
When the weather warms we’ve still got it going on, with cycling, hiking, paddling and more in New York City, Westchester and Duchess Counties, Long Island, Vermont, and beyond. Like to play outside the way we do? Join us!
IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING YOUR ROOM
Everyone who visits the lodge is required to sign our waiver and the Vermont Certificate of Compliance, including proof of vaccination at least 14 days prior or a negative Covid-19 test, wear masks and follow social distancing in all common areas.
Please do not book a room if you have any Covid-19 symptoms (fever, lost taste or sense of smell, etc.), or if you have just returned from a quarantined state or country, or have not been social distancing.
Those traveling directly to VT by automobile may meet certain quarantine requirements at home, prior to their trip, including proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within four days of arrival.
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of your payment and are not refundable. Read our 2020-21 Winter Lodge Policy for more detailed information and email [email protected] if you have any questions about our policy.

Where we Ski and Snowboard

Our favorite mountains in Vermont — Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Killington and Stowe — are a short drive from from the lodge, but when conditions are right we’ve been known to visit Pico Peak, Jay Peak or other local ski areas. Each winter we run a “big trip” too, either to a European resort like Cortina d’Ampezzo,Val d’Isère or Bormio, or to the Rockies for pow-shots at Aspen, Big Sky or Crested Butte. And if there’s a big mid-week snow storm members have been known to bail out of work and head for the hills because, you know, we have our priorities!
