Barbara Huntley Novice Downhill Skier and Snowboarder Program
The Miramar Ski Club offers a unique opportunity to learn to downhill ski or snowboard in a supportive and affordable way through the Barbara Huntley Novice Downhill Skier and Snowboarder Program.
Novice skiers and boarders will be reimbursed up to $75 per day towards a skiing or boarding package that includes lessons, lift tickets and rentals.

Who is eligible?
- The Barbara Huntley Novice Downhill Skier and Snowboarder Program is open to guests, 18 years or older, beginners at the activity, on all official Miramar trips to our Vermont lodge.
How does the program work?
- Eligible participants sign up for ski or snowboard lesson or for an equipment/lesson package at regular prices.
- Miramar will rebate up to $75 for each day the participant takes a novice level lesson (Sugarbush Ski Resort, levels 1, 2, or 3 ).
- There is a lifetime maximum of 4 Huntley program reimbursements per person.
We try to remove as much stress as possible from the “first time” experience by assigning one of our club members as your “Mentor” to answer any questions that you have about the club, the program, and completing the paperwork. Your mentor will also direct you to the school, lift ticket window and rental office.
Keep your receipts and submit them with the reimbursement form available from your Trip Leader. Receipts and the completed reimbursement form may also be scanned and emailed (directions on the reimbursement form).
