TRIP DETAILS

For this MLK weekend we will go to Sugarbush and Killington on this IKON friendly trip.

Trip Leader: Tom Fleming Staff: Cesar Aguilar

Join us for a weekend of winter fun, including transportation between LI/NY/NJ and Vermont, chef-prepared breakfasts and dinner, and more at our ski lodge in northern Vermont. Guests are welcome.

Destinations: On the first & second day, we usually go to Sugarbush which is just fifteen minutes away from our lodge. On the third day, we usually go to Killington provided conditions allow.  Otherwise, we’ll do another day at Sugarbush.

What’s included: Just about everything you need except equipment and a lift pass. See our Winter Trip Guide for all the details.

Bus Pickup Locations: Long Island, Manhattan, and Ramsey, NJ.  See Bus Pick Up Location for times and directions, and leave the driving to us!

Lift Tickets & Lessons: Do not purchase any lift tickets or lessons until the final destinations have been confirmed. You can reach out to the trip leader for confirmation on destinations; their email is above.

First-time skiers or snowboarders: Miramar will help subsidize first-timer lessons and package costs for you. Visit our Learn to Ski and Snowboard page for details.

Trip Fees: Will be paid by credit card through our online reservation system.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations after midnight Friday one week before the trip incur a $100 late cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the whole trip cost. More info

Chores: Miramar is 100% volunteer-run. To help keep costs low every tripper helps out during the trip by taking care of a small chore. Most take less than ten minutes to complete and help us keep the trip costs low. A few examples would be: Waking everyone up in the morning, counting everyone on the bus, unloading skis when we arrive at the mountain or preparing our snack bags, cheese, and crackers, for the bus ride home; you would pick one or two to help with.

The Lodge

The bedrooms at Miramar's lodge are simple, comfortable, and made up with fresh sheets and towels when you arrive. Most are doubles that share a bath with one other room. A few are larger, and there are two dorm rooms that sleep six people so we can accommodate everyone when it's a powder weekend. After skiing and after dinner, our downstairs has a bar, lounge, fireplace, and dance floor.

We love this club! I've been a member for several years and it has positively impacted my life in so many ways. I've had lots of great seasons of skiing at Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, and Killington, and made so many friends. I don't know what I'd have done without it. Try it, you'll like it, as the saying goes!

Having been a member of Miramar for over 5 years now I can tell you this is a well organized, well run ski club. I've been skiing since the last century, was in many lodges and in another ski club. Miramar is the best. The members are dedicated with a high spirit of volunteerism. Our lodge in the Mad River Valley of Vermont is like a second home we cherish and care for. We enjoy each other's company and welcome all guests.

Have been a member for two years and this is the best club for skiing. The lodge is well managed, clean, the food on the weekends is great. The other members are friendly and welcoming. Best thing I did to make skiing more fun!

Mirarmar Ski Club. Great ski club in gorgeous Vermont. Wonderful in the summertime too with fabulous nearby hiking, beautiful biking right out the door & swimming in the river just a 1/2 block from the lodge. And complimentary Happy Hour every night after your vigorous day on the slopes, water, biking hills, mountains.

It’s the best deal for an Ikon pass holder. On most weekends, you can ski the two premier resorts for Ikon in the northeast. It’s a great way to get in shape for going out west or for just having a fun weekend with other like-minded people.

My boyfriend and I recently attended our first trip with Miramar over new year's weekend and I'd like to share that we had an amazing time skiing at Sugarbush and Killington! The bus ride was easy and fast, the lodge was clean and cosy, the food was incredible and the sense of ski comraderie was heart-warming! We look forward to taking another trip with them soon and introducing more ski friends to this great group!

Over the years, the trips, the club and the lodge has increasingly grown on me. The lodge is a home away from home, a refuge from the madness that is NYC. Even when the skiing nearby is terrible or raining, I can always unwind and relax at Miramar.

I love belonging to Miramar. The people are friendly, the activities are year round, if there is something you like to do announce it and you’ll get a bunch of people joining you at it. Join you won’t be sorry.
