Other Winter Weekend Activities

There are lots of things to do in Vermont on a Miramar bus trip, even if you don’t ski, snowboard, XC ski, or snowshoe. However check with our COVID policy before you go: COVID Policy.

On Saturday, you can enjoy the Sugarbush Health & Recreation Center, which offers a hot tub, pool, gym, rock climbing, racketball/squash/tennis courts, and exercise classes. The Center is a short walk from the Sugarbush base area, where the Miramar bus drops off and picks up downhill skiers. After you enjoy your time at the Center you can meet the downhill skiers at the base area for lunch or an après ski gathering, or head back to the lodge early on the free public bus between Sugarbush and our lodge.

You can also explore Waitsfield, a charming village that’s just across a picturesque covered-bridge from our lodge.

On our trip’s final day (usually Sunday), you can spend the day enjoying the base area of the resort that we visit.

At Killington Resort, you can relax at Snowshed Lodge, which has lots of space for lounging, a sit-down restaurant and a food court, and access to The Beast Mountain Coaster. You may also travel with our XC skiers and snowshoers to Mountain Top Inn & Resort, which offers picturesque views, ice skating, sleigh rides, and spa services.

At Stowe Resort, you can ride the Over Easy Gondola to the Spruce Peak Base Area, which has many restaurants, shops, an ice skating rink, a rock climbing wall, and spa services.

No matter what, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie of Miramar in our beautiful Vermont setting, regardless of whether you choose to ski.
